Application:
Dusantox 6PPD is one of the most effective antidegradants available for elastomers. lt acts as an effective antioxidant, gives excellent protection against ozone, suppresses the effects of metal contaminants in vulcanizates and inhibits the flex cracking. Dusantox 6PPD is less extractible by water than IPPD. Used in tyres, beltings, hose and mechanical rubber goods exposed to both static and dynamic operating conditions. In order to reach higher protection levels of vulcanizates it is recommended to use Dusantox 6PPD in combination with other antioxidants of the following types: PAN, TMQ, 2-MBI or aralkylated diphenylamine (Dusantox 86).

Colouring and Staining:
It causes expressive colouring and staining.

Storage and Packaging:
Dusantox 6PPD is packed to 3-layer paper bags (25 kg) or to big-bags (350-800 kg). The product should be stored/transported in dry and covered places/vehicles. Storage life: one year.
